Old School Survival Boot Camp is a 3-Day Survival Homesteading Hands-On Learning Weekend In The Hocking Hills Region Of Southern Ohio

Old School Survival Boot Camp is 3-day interactive weekend camp filled with more nearly 125 hands-on homesteading, bushcraft, blacksmithing, butchering, off grid living, survival, herbalism, homeschooling, self-defense, and martial arts classes presented by over 45 experts from around the country.

The Old School Survival Boot Camp weekend will take place at the main event venue - Vinton County Fairgrounds, as well as offering immersion experiences and trainings offered by our event partners at the On Guard Defense Gun Range and Training Center and Raccoon Creek Outfitters. Tickets for activities offered by our event partners are booked directly through them by visiting their website or calling their respective offices.

The 3-day Old School Survival Boot Camp event passes will not be sold at the door. Tickets must be purchased online prior to the event date.

You do not have to purchase the 3-day passes for adults or children at the same time as purchasing add-on experiences tickets, camping, or official boot camp gear through our Ticketbud event page. You may return at a later date to purchase any add-ons to the general admission tickets - while spaces are available and while gear lasts.

Class Registration

You must register for all classes at Old School Survival Boot Camp 2023. Once you purchase your general admission ticket by clicking on the Tickets tab on the menu bar of the www.oldschoolsurvivalbootcamp.com website, you will receive a private link for class registration with your receipt. You do not need to register immediately after purchasing tickets, BUT classes registration is on a first come-first served basis. Class registration ends when all of the classes are booked full or on May 1 - whichever comes first. Old School Survival Boot Camp will not be creating a wait list for classes when they become full. The only way to attempt to get into a booked class will be to go to the class tent/area prior to its start and ask the instructor if they have more materials or space.

Terms of Service

By purchasing any Old School Survival Boot Camp general admission, add-on experience ticket, or camping reservation you have completely read, understand, and agree to our terms of service. If you have not read, understood, or cannot agree to the terms of service, DO NOT purchase a ticket to the event, purchase gear, or reserve camping through our event ticket service.

The Old School Survival Boot Camp is primarily an outdoor event - dress and accessorize accordingly. The 3-day survival event will go on rain or shine - including all courses that take place indoors, under event tents, or in wooded and open areas on the grounds. Activities will only be halted for lightening or similar potentially deadly weather or natural disaster emergencies.

Tickets are NON REFUNDABLE, but you can gift or sell your tickets if you find yourself unable to attend the event. Should Ohio be on any type of Covid-19 restrictions during the Old School Survival Boot Camp weekend, the event will be structured to comply with any and all restrictions. Should large outdoor gatherings be prohibited during the Old School Survival Boot Camp weekend, the event will be rescheduled and raincheck tickets issued for the new date.

Old School Survival Boot Camp Handicap Accessibility

This is an outdoor event where uneven terrain and off pavement conditions should be expected to be encountered. Rain before or during the event may make some areas difficult or impossible to traverse by wheelchair.

The road through the main event venue is a combination of gravel and dirt that is usually passable by a wheelchair, but weather conditions could alter passable conditions. All barns, buildings, and permanent restrooms are handicap accessible.

There are roughly 20 handicap parking spots in the heart of the main event venue. These will be used daily on a first come first serve basis. If an attendee alerts event staff at the front gate that all handicap accessible parking spaces are taken, a drop off to the main event building or as near as possible to an event area will be permitted.

Please contact us via email with any specific questions or concerns about handicap accessibility prior to purchasing a non-refundable ticket or during the event in the case of inclement weather that may alter accessibility conditions at the outdoor event.
